Prayer for the day

Father, help me practice today the gift of maturity.

The maturity to treat others with dignity and respect,

The maturity to understand and help facilitate the dreams,

and aspirations of those I am in contact with.

Father help me use this gift as well to treat myself with dignity

and respect- and to understand and facilitate my dreams and aspirations.

Father, in knowing this gift of maturity and using it as I should

I will work to bring myself and my brothers and sisiters closer to you in our hearts.
